To create our Manuka Peanut Butter we gently roast freshly harvested peanuts grown in the adundant sunshine of Okinawa's Ie Island. The roast peanuts are then skinned and turned into butter. We use no additives or preservatives in the process. The ONLY ingredient in our peanut butter is roasted peanuts. The peanut butter is then fused with our rawNew Zealand Manuka Honey to create the healthiest peanut butter in the world that we know of. No preservatives, no additives, no added sugar, just Manuka Honey and peanuts.♪

⭐What is Manuka⭐

Manuka honey is made by bees that pollinate the manuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium). The Manuka bush has long been used in New Zealand for its traditional healing properties. Before Manuka Honey was popularised in the 1980's, the Manuka palnt was well known to the Maori people for its many healing properties. 

The diverse uses of the Manuka plant include preparations for the reduction of fever, treatment of head colds, stiff back and joints, treatmnet of constipation, as a relaxant for sleep, for pain relief after injuries, as a mouth wash and treatment for gum disease, bathing sore eyes, soothing burns, reducing inflammationand much more.

Manuka Honey is often referred to as healing honey. It is rich in Methylglyoxal (MGO). MGO is the major anti-bacterial component of Manuka Honey and comes from the conversion of another compound found in Manuka Honey called dihydroxyacetone (DHA) which is found in high concentration in the nectar of Manuka Flowers.

How to eat

Manuka Honey & Peanuts is great on its own but is best when added to pancakes, waffles, toast or crackers.  If you're a fan of peanut based dressings or sauces, the creany peanut flavor and sweetness of the Manuka Honey make this a fantastic base for any dressing or sauce. 

Great as a base for a satay sauce.
